When I was working on creating an equine character, Aetes, I was considering how to do his eyes. And I wanted something bright, almost yellow-amber, but so translucent that the sun could almost shine right through them.
Even though completely off subject, you've captured what I always felt Aetes eyes would look like in my heart.
